Bridgeway’s Warren County ARRIVE Together program partners with the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office to provide behavioral health expertise during critical incidents.
Bridgeway mental health professionals participate with the Prosecutor’s Office Tactical Response Team and Crisis Negotiation Team. During an activation, clinicians may provide immediate, on-scene support to law enforcement and individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges.
This collaborative approach supports safer outcomes, strengthens de-escalation efforts and helps connect individuals to appropriate mental health care and resources during and after a critical incident.
How the Warren County Team Helps
The team may provide:
- On-scene behavioral health consultation
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation support
- Behavioral health expertise during high-risk incidents
- Support to crisis negotiators and tactical response personnel
- Assessment of behavioral health needs
- Connections to treatment and community resources
- Follow-up support after a critical incident
- Assistance coordinating an appropriate behavioral health response
How It Works
When the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office activates its Tactical Response Team or Crisis Negotiation Team, a Bridgeway mental health professional may be included as part of the coordinated response.
The clinician works alongside law enforcement to provide behavioral health guidance, support de-escalation and help identify appropriate care and resources for individuals experiencing a crisis.
The partnership also includes joint planning and interdisciplinary training throughout the year. By training together, mental health professionals and law enforcement personnel strengthen communication, improve response coordination and prepare to manage complex, high-risk situations safely and effectively.
